Video: Brutal follow-up shots after one-punch knockout at CES MMA 61
One of the most eventful finishing sequences you’ll ever see went down Wednesday at CES MMA 61.
Jamelle Jones took on Tyler King in a heavyweight bout on the card held in Warwick, R.I.
Jones hit King with a pitter-patter of a spinning back fist which landed low on King’s lead knee. That was almost comical, but what followed next wasn’t. Jones caught a charging King flush on the jaw with a left hand that put him out. He then followed with three consecutive full-force punches to the face of his unconscious foe before the referee finally waved things off.
Should Jones have held off after his opponent went out, or is this a simple matter of fighting until the referee tells you to stop? Check the video clip below and decide for yourself.
