“I’m very excited to fight for RIZIN and the Japanese fans. Look forward to kicking this guy in the face.”
“I am very glad that I continued my sports career inn one of the coolest organizations in the world. My opponent is a good experienced fighter and I will treat him with respect and wish to fight him in my best condition without any injuries. May the best man win.”
“I am here because of Shooto, fighting on such a big event in my home town might be the last time in my professional career, so I hope to show the greatness of Shooto, and how badass Kobe men are, in this fight”
“I’m ready to put on a show for the Japanese fans. Uoi is a good fighter and I am ready to go to war with him.”
“RIZIN has finally made its way to the Kansai region. Everything would be a joke without the most entertaining man in Kansai not fighting on the card, so here I am. Traditional Kempo vs Muay Thai. This fight would have to end by a knockout. Of course I would be the one standing at the end. My fights deliver 120%. Don’t miss it”
Topnoi Tiger Muay Thai
“I am excited to come back to Japan and put on another show for the Japanese fans against another tough opponent. I think the fans like my aggressive style and how I throw caution to the wind to entertain them. See you soon Kobe.”
“I would like to thank Shooto for approving this once in a lifetime opportunity. And I would like to thank the RIZIN staff for giving me this offer. I know this will be a striking war but I will make sure to knock Kawahara out.”
“I usually fight at Strawweight, but the weight really doesn’t matter. There is a big show in my back yard, and I got an offer so I’m going to fight. I know why I got the call, and I will not let them down. Hey Soya, I’m coming up a weight class to brawl with you. Don’t you dare shoot on me.”
“I am ecstatic that I will finally be getting a shot on my dream stage. I will not only win, but will win leaving an impact so that I get called back. I really don’t know much about my opponent, but I do know that he usually fights at a heavier weight class so I’m practicing assuming he would have the advantage in physical strength and pressure. At the end it won’t matter because I will knock him out.”
“I am much honored to take part on such an event like RIZIN. I am close to the end of my career but this opportunity is a perfect motivational boost for me. YUYA has experience and great technique and I do believe that I would be the challenger for this fight. I will fight not only for myself, but for everybody who has supported me with my journey leading up to this point.”
“After becoming the Shoot Boxing Champion last year, I do believe that I am the one that will lead Shoot Boxing. I am extremely motivated in being able to compete in such an event where my fellow Shoot Boxers like RENA and KAITO have fought. It really helps me that this will be held in my home region so I’m looking to not only win, but win in spectacular fashion and put my name out there.”
“I am honored to be able to fight on such a prestigious platform. I will put on a performance that will please my supporters, and the fans who will be there at the event. I would like to show a speedy fight that only we can put on.”
