UFC Reveals Event Schedule For Remainder Of 2019

Wondering which weekends you need to keep clear for major UFC events? Well wonder no more! The UFC has finally announced their full schedule for quarter 3 and 4 of 2019, and it’s pretty packed. From July 6th to December 21st, the combat sports promotion will be holding 22 shows — 7 pay-per-view events, 11 events on streaming service ESPN+, 3 events airing on the ESPN cable network, and 1 event on ESPN2.

Locations for most of these cards past mid-July are still under wraps, with the exception of UFC 241 in Anaheim, UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi, and an ESPN+ event in Mexico City on September 21st. While still unconfirmed in the UFC’s official statement on dates, it is rumored that UFC 243 will take place in Australia at the 30,000 seater Western Sydney Stadium. And we’d be shocked if the UFC decides to hold it’s year end PPV event UFC 245 on December 14 outside of Las Vegas.

As for the rest, it sounds like it’s still in flux.

”So our plan is to have two more events in Canada, one pay-per-view and one fight night,” UFC Head of International exec David Shaw told TSN. “We’ve yet to determine the cities or dates for that, we will at some point very soon. Australia we’ll have to see ... Definitely at some point we will be back in Australia. The Adesanya-Whittaker fight makes a lot of sense, we just haven’t planned the date yet. So we’ll see when those guys come down the pipe.”
