UFC 236 video: Embedded, part 4 - ‘I’m gonna give you a tour of my body’
Check out the fourth episode of Embedded for UFC 236.
UFC 236 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fourth episode for this weekend’s big show in Atlanta, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
Things start off with Eryk Anders, who talks about fighting up a weight class against Khalil Rountree. Rountree does some light work to shake the flight off. He has respect for his opponent.
Off at a studio, Israel Adesanya flubs a line while filming an intro for a clip about his tattoos. He has quite a story for each of them. Dustin Poirier watches a video of his daughter as he heads to the gym, and discusses what being a dad means to him. He does the tattoo thing as well, and talks about the challenges of doing media in general.
Max Holloway’s hilarious son gets some screen time, as usual. Then it’s off to open workouts. Adesanya is up first. He says that Derek Brunson was scared, but Kelvin Gastelum isn’t. Poirier is up next. Gastelum does his, and says that he didn’t see much pop in Adesanya’s punches when he fought Anderson Silva.
Finally it’s Holloway. 2018 wasn’t a good year for him, and he thinks 2019 will be a lot better. He wants to be he # 1 P4P fighter now. Let’s go!
UFC 236 goes down this Saturday night in the State Farm Arena in the ATL.
