UFC on ESPN 55 pre-event facts: Karine Silva looks to continue historic octagon start
After a brief hiatus following UFC 300, octagon action resume Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas with UFC on ESPN 55, which airs on ESPN and streams on ESPN+.
A matchup of ranked flyweights is featured as the five-round main event. Dynamic Brazilian Matheus Nicolau (19-3-1 MMA, 7-2 UFC) looks to put his name in title contention against former title challenger Alex Perez (23-8 MMA, 5-4 UFC), who looks to snap a three-fight losing skid.
